Privacy policy

The short version

This website does not run analytics, advertising pixels or tracking cookies. When you submit an enquiry form, the details are sent to our own email inboxes over an encrypted connection and a copy is emailed to you. They are not written to any database on this website.

The only thing stored in your browser is a single flag remembering that you have already seen or dismissed the enquiry pop-up, so it does not appear again.

Who we are

This site is operated by Globosoft. Our India operations are at Globosoft Solutions, Kochi, Kerala, India and our UAE operations at Globosoft, Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

Information you give us

The enquiry form, the pop-up and the partner registration form ask for details such as your name, company, email address, phone or WhatsApp number, the market you sell in and a short brief.

When you submit one of these forms, the details are sent from this website to our India or UAE inbox, depending on the region you select, using an authenticated and encrypted mail connection. A confirmation of what you sent is emailed to the address you gave, so you have your own copy.

The website itself keeps no database of enquiries. Once the email arrives we hold it as we would any business correspondence: to reply, to prepare a proposal and to keep a record of what was agreed.

Information collected automatically

This site sets no analytics or advertising cookies and embeds no tracking scripts.

Like any website, the server that delivers these pages may keep standard access logs (IP address, page requested, browser type, timestamp) for security and reliability. Ask your hosting provider for their retention period and record it here.

Submitting a form sets a short-lived session cookie. It carries no personal information and exists only to stop the same form being submitted repeatedly by automated scripts.

What is stored in your browser

Two items of local storage, named gs_lead_modal_day and gs_exit_wa_day, recording that you have already seen or dismissed the enquiry pop-up and the exit message on a given day. They hold no personal information and are not read by anyone but this site.

A session cookie is also set when you submit a form, as described above.

You can clear it at any time through your browser's site-data settings. Doing so simply means the pop-up may appear again.

Links to other services

Some links take you to services operated by other companies: WhatsApp for messaging, Google Maps for our office locations, the Shopify Partner Directory for our partner listing, Google for our reviews, and our regional sites globosoft.in and globosoft.ae.

Once you follow one of those links you are on that company's service, under their privacy policy, not ours. We do not receive anything from those services about your visit unless you contact us through them.

How we use what you send

To reply to your enquiry, prepare a proposal, deliver work you engage us for and keep ordinary business records.

We do not sell your information. We do not share it with third parties for their own marketing.

Where a project genuinely requires it, we may share limited details with a subcontractor or platform partner working on your engagement, and only what that work requires.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not lead to work are kept only as long as they are commercially useful, then deleted.

Records relating to actual client engagements are kept for as long as the relationship continues and afterwards for the period our accounting, tax and contractual obligations in India and the UAE require.

Your rights

You can ask us what information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, ask us to delete it, or ask us to stop using it for a particular purpose. Write to info@globosoft.in or info@globosoft.ae and we will respond within a reasonable period.

Depending on where you live you may have additional rights under the India Digital Personal Data Protection Act, the UAE Personal Data Protection Law, the EU or UK GDPR, or other local law. We will honour those rights where they apply to you.

If you believe we have handled your information badly, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the relevant data protection authority in your country.

Security

This site is served over HTTPS and holds no customer database, no accounts and no payment information, which removes most of the risk a marketing website usually carries. Form submissions are relayed to our inboxes over an authenticated, encrypted SMTP connection and are not retained on the web server.

Business correspondence and project material are held in our own systems with access limited to the people working on your engagement. No system is perfectly secure, and we will tell you promptly if something happens that affects your information.

Children

This site is aimed at businesses and is not intended for children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we add analytics or advertising tools to this site, this policy will be updated before those tools go live, and where the law requires it we will ask for your consent first.
